Once an order is placed, shipping and billing info is securely tokenized and sent to the relevant brand(s) for fulfillment. From that point forward, the customer experience is owned by the brand — including order confirmation, shipping updates, and support.

This approach keeps the experience seamless for the customer, while reducing compliance and operational burden for your platform.

📬 Cart or Order Status & Updates

Diddo provides order updates via webhooks and APIs, depending on the brand's integration capabilities. Available integrations:

  • Webhooks: Cart Submitted, Return Initiated, Refund Issued
  • API: Polling endpoints for cart and order-level events

🔧 Status detail depends on each brand’s backend. Some offer real-time Order Management Systems (OMS) updates, while others may have limited tracking. Need deeper visibility? We can establish custom brand integrations to support your use case.


🔄 Cart Status Polling

During checkout, platforms can poll the cart status to know when a customer has finished paying.

Once the cart status changes from IN_PROGRESS to SUBMITTED, checkout is complete.

Poll every 3–5 seconds until SUBMITTED, then refresh your frontend to show confirmation.


📧 Order Confirmation & Fulfillment

To maintain a familiar e-commerce experience:

  • The customer submits their shipping and billing details at checkout
  • This information is securely passed to each brand involved in the order
  • If the cart includes multiple stores, Diddo automatically splits and routes each portion to the correct brand
  • The customer receives one or more confirmation emails directly from the brands, including:
    • Order summaries, shipping timelines, receipts
    • Return policies and customer support links
  • Ongoing communication happens between the brand and customer — not through your platform

With the dashboard, you can:

  • Search by user, email, or order ID
  • View active and past orders placed through your platform
  • Check fulfillment status and shipping details
  • Initiate returns or refunds (if supported)
  • Offer direct customer support as needed

💡 The dashboard is fully customizable. We can tailor it to your team’s workflow, or deliver this data via API or Slack. Visibility may vary by brand - some offer full tracking, others partial updates only.
